Charnwood Brewery took to the rails, taking over the newly refurbished bar car at the Great Central Railway’s Beer, Cider & Gin Festival.

For four days, visitors travelled in style, enjoying all the comforts of their local pub while on the move, hauled by heritage steam and diesel engines. With four draught ales, a selection of bottled beers, and freshly made cobs, sausage rolls and pork pies on offer, it proved to be an experience not to be missed.

Highlights included Moon Door, a 2025 Gold Award–winning beer, alongside Steam Train and STOMP, which helped support local charity LOROS.
